PBA episodes are typically more exaggerated and do not match how the person with this condition feels.
Before taking Nuedexta you should tell your doctor about any other medical conditions you may have and the medications and treatments you are taking, including over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and supplements. If you are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), quinidine, or quinidine-related drugs you will have to wait 14 days before you can use Nuedexta or after you have stopped Nuedexta to resume using an MAOI. This waiting period will help to avoid drug interactions.
Nuedexta should only be used as prescribed by your doctor. If you are unclear about your dosage instructions, ask your healthcare provider to clarify them for you. Do not use Nuedexta if you are allergic to its ingredients or if you have a family history of heart rhythm problems.
What are the side effects of Nuedexta?
