What is Tribenzor?
Tribenzor is a three-in-one combination drug taken once-daily for the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). If high blood pressure is left untreated, it can lead to strokes, heart attacks, and kidney problems. This product contains three medications: olmesartan, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide. Olmesartan and amlodipine work together and relaxes the blood vessels in the body so that blood can flow more easily. Hydrochlorothiazide, also called a "water pill", causes your body to get rid of extra salt and water by making more urine. Tribenzor is an FDA-approved medication that comes in tablet form that is taken orally.
Tribenzor is usually given after other blood pressure medicines have been tried unsuccessfully. This prescription medication should only be taken as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. To get the most benefit from Tribenzor, patients are advised to use this medication regularly and at the same time every day. This medication may take up to two weeks or longer before you start seeing your symptoms improve.
