This medication works by decreasing the amount of acid in your stomach and slowing the natural movements of the gut. It also relaxes the muscles in the stomach and intestines. Serious side effects in a child using Glycopyrrolate include dry diapers, fussiness, and/or excessive crying. Stop using this medication right away and call your child’s doctor for guidance if your child has these symptoms.
