What is Ztlido?

Ztlido is a prescription medicine that is used to relieve nerve pain after shingles, which is caused by the herpes zoster virus. This type of pain is usually referred to as neuropathic pain. Ztlido works by causing a temporary loss of feeling in the area where you apply the lidocaine patch and it reduces any sharp, burning, or aching pain on the skin. This prescription medicine belongs to the local anesthetics drug class. This medication has not been tested for use in children.
