What is Hyclodex?
Hyclodex is a brand-name antiseptic spray that is used to clean wounds and treat skin ulcers and infections. It works by safely and quickly removing microorganisms and bacteria from the skin. Hyclodex is non-irritating and non-drying. It does not have an offensive smell and it will not bleach your clothes or pillowcases. Hyclodex contains hypochlorous acid with proprietary technology that allows your skin to retain its pH balance.
Before using Hyclodex tell your doctor about any other conditions you may have and about all the treatments you may be using including all prescription medications, over-the-counter (OTC) medicines, and supplements. Providing your doctor with a list of medications will reduce your likelihood of drug interactions and adverse effects.
Only use Hyclodex as directed by your healthcare provider. To use Hyclodex spray the antiseptic on a clean gauze pad and apply thoroughly apply to affected areas. You then allow this product to fully dry on your skin. Hyclodex is typically applied two times daily. Hyclodex should only be used under the supervision of a healthcare professional.
