What is Fyavolv?

Fyavolv is a generic prescription medication that is used by women to treat the symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes and vaginal dryness. Fyavolv also helps to prevent osteoporosis. This hormone replacement therapy contains ethinyl estradiol and norethindrone. The progestin hormone in Fyavolv helps to minimize the risk of cancer forming in the uterus, often caused by using estrogen. The prescription Fyavolv is not recommended for women who have had their uterus removed. Fyavolv belongs to the drug class of contraceptives and it is taken orally through the mouth.
