It works by keeping blood vessels from narrowing, this lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow. You should not use Telmisartan-Amlodipine if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Common side effects may include swelling in your hands and feet, fast or pounding heartbeats, dizziness, drowsiness and nausea.

  • Do not use this medicine together with aliskiren if you have diabetes.

  • Some foods and medicines can affect how telmisartan/amlodipine works.
