What do I need to tell my doctor before taking Lisinopril? 

Before taking Lisinopril, tell your doctor about any medical conditions you have, and your medical history. Lisinopril is not safe for everyone. For example, Lisinopril cannot be taken by people who are allergic to ACE inhibitors, or people with a history of angioedema (swelling under the skin). Lisinopril cannot be taken by pregnant women because it can harm or cause death to the unborn baby.
