Fanapt should be taken by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor. Your dosage of Fanapt is based on your medical condition, other drugs you are taking, and your response to treatment. Fanapt is not approved for use by anyone younger than 18 years old. If you miss a dose of Fanapt, take the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose. Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose.It is not recommended to use Fanapt if you are allergic to iloperidone.
