What is Adcirca and what does it do?

Adcirca, a brand-name, prescription drug, is classified as a vasodilator and is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs). Adcirca increases blood flow by relaxing and dilating blood vessels in the lungs. It also works by treating symptoms of an enlarged prostate.

Which drugs are similar to Adcirca?

In addition to Adcirca, Cialis is a brand-name drug that also contains the active ingredient tadalafil and is used for erectile dysfunction. Patients should not take Adcirca with Cialis or other similar drugs like Viagra. Consult with your doctor to determine the best treatment for your condition.
