It is available in the form of a sustained-release and extended-release tablets. Wellbutrin Sr is thought to help restore the balance of certain natural substances in your brain.
Wellbutrin Sr is taken twice a day. In the case of a missed dose take the next tablet at the regular time to reduce dose-related risk of seizure. The daily dose should not be changed without a doctor's approval as it may increase your risk of seizure. It is not recommended to chew, split or crush Wellbutrin Sr sustained-release or extended-release tablets as adverse effects may occur.
Use Wellbutrin Sr only as prescribed by a doctor or healthcare professional. It is not recommended to use MAOIs or Monoamine oxidase inhibitors like methylene blue injection, linezolid, phenelzine, and rasagiline within 14 days of taking Wellbutrin Sr as dangerous drug interactions may occur.
