What is Veregen?

Veregen is a prescription medication used to treat genital and anal warts in adults. It is an herbal product made from green tea leaves. The exact way in which it works is unknown, although it is believed to offer benefits through its anti-oxidative activity.

This medication comes in the form of a topical ointment. It is only meant for use on warts outside the genitals and around the outside of the anus. It should not be used inside the rectum, vagina, cervix, or urethra.
