Efudex treats skin conditions by interfering with the growth of skin cells, causing abnormal skin cells that grow too fast to die.
Efudex comes in the form of a 5% topical cream meant forexternal use on your skin. This medication should not be taken by mouth. Follow all instructions provided on your prescription label. Your healthcare professional will prescribe a dose based on an assessment of your current medical condition, drugs you are already using, and your body's response to treatment.
