Scopolamine is not approved in children or teenagers under the age of 18 years old. Seek emergency medical help if you have symptoms of an allergic reaction such as hives, shortness of breath, or swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat.
After you remove the patch, if you do not put on another one, the effects of the medication scopolamine can last anywhere from several days to several weeks.
Before taking Scopolamine, tell your healthcare provider about all your medications, including prescription and OTC drugs, vitamins, and supplements.
Because Scopolamine acts on the central nervous system (CNS), it should not be taken with other substances or medications that cause CNS reactions of drowsiness, dizziness, or disorientation, such as:
Alcohol
Opioid pain medications
