What is Rifadin?
Rifadin is an FDA-approved prescription antibiotic used to prevent and treat tuberculosis as well as other bacterial infections. It works by targeting and killing the bacteria that cause infection. Rifadin comes in the form of an oral tablet and is best taken on an empty stomach with a full glass of water one hour before or two hours after meals.
