Nocdurna is used to control the amount of urine made by your kidneys in patients with nocturia. Nocturia is a condition in which you wake up during the night because you have to urinate. Urine production in the body is usually controlled by a substance called vasopressin. In patients with diabetes, nocturia, or certain kinds of head injury, the body does not make enough vasopressin. This medication is also used by adults who wake up two or more times a night to urinate due to a condition called nocturnal polyuria.
