What is Menthol?
Menthol is a topical pain relief product used to treat minor aches of the joints and muscle pains such as backaches, sprains, and arthritis. Menthol is known as a counterirritant and works by causing the skin to feel cool and warm. These feelings on the skin distract from the feeling of aches and pains deeper in the joints, muscles, and tendons.
Menthol topical pain reliever comes in the form of non-greasy cream meant for external use on the skin only. Clean and dry the affected area first. Apply a thin layer of Menthol on the affected area and gently rub in. Use this product as many times per day as needed. Read and follow the instructions provided on the product packaging before you start using this medication.
