Durolane is administered as an injection directly into your knee joint by a healthcare professional. Durolane’s manufacturer notes that studies show Durolane leads to a greater reduction in knee pain compared to Synvisc-One (or three injections of Synvisc, which is equivalent to one injection of Synvisc-One). However, everyone responds to medications differently, so you should talk to your healthcare provider for more information, questions, and medical advice regarding these medications.
